  • Interesting, but designers don't follow rules!

I'm returning with a March update-Things still haven't changed...the designers and voters are NOT following directions...what don't players understand? Many players way over-decorate their rooms! You don't have to place a painting or floor decor over every single inch of the room. It is many times sensory overload to look at the overdone designs! Most of all, please decorate the rooms with the required style...it's not about what YOU like-it's about following requirements! Voters...quit voting for the same old boring types of rooms that get high scores every single day!!! While the game is great and I look forward to the daily challenges, there seems to be a problem with players following the instructions. The same, tired boring designs constantly get the high scores... Please STOP with the boring black & white geometric rugs that always get 5 stars! And voters, please do not vote for the black & white designs and maybe others will begin to be rewarded fairly! I honestly wish the black and white geometric pattern rugs were just removed from inventory because that way, no one could utilize them in a design again-try something new...oh what a novel idea! It also drives me crazy when you see 2 or 3 of the same paintings placed in a room. You wouldn't see that in a real home or design (other than with wall plaques), so why are you doing it here? Use some creativity and be different-Please for the sake of the game! When required, please style the room as you are instructed! If the requirement is coastal, then style it coastal. If rustic, then style rustic, Mediterranean, modern, traditional and so on. And please use some color! Last out, I styled a beautiful MCM room and many others that received a higher score were NOT designing in the MCM style one bit. This skews the ratings and needs to be fixed.

I have mixed feelings about this game. It’s a lot of fun, but there are a few things I’d like updated. 1. The wall artwork is not great. The artwork for the walls usually plays a big part in how you will design the room. I find the options boring and outdated. 2. I’d love it if the game let me save furniture I’m thinking about while I look at other pieces. Scrolling through so many options takes a long time. Then you have to go back and find pieces you liked. 3. People who play the game get to vote, but most people love the bold prints and everything matching. That means neutral and interesting rooms often get overlooked and don’t win a 4 star rating.
  • This app collects and shares data with 3rd parties.

Since downloading this app and connecting it to Facebook I have received hundreds of calls, texts and emails from third parties to include phishing scams and other con artists. I contacted the developer directly and they said others had complained but they do the best they can. This is not okay! It’s not enough they make money through their app but they have to sell consumers info too.
  • I loved this game.

I loved playing this game. It gave me an outlet when my husband didn’t want me to rearrange our furniture again. I even made a few in app purchase which I normally wouldn’t do. Sadly I have noticed in app purchase being made that I did NOT authorize and did not receive what was paid for. Has me wondering how many times I have missed “extra purchases”. I’m extremely disappointed.

Just wanted to say thank you guys for the new & improved table decor, PLanT varieties and especially for the more refined selection of artwork from which to chose! This game just gets better so no complaints. I wouldn’t mind “Yard Sales” or monthly “Swap Parties” to curate vs the low scores earned on my “Clean-out Rooms”. Other that of course, many thanks!

Crash, crash, crash, and even more crash. I enjoy this game very much. I spend $$’s on this game every month because I enjoy it so. Please fix the crashing! I have lost $$’s and inventory and had to totally design a room from scratch.

I think that if you still have cash and diamonds left when u summit a design the money you get for that design should be added to what you already have, not take left over money away from us
  • Costs An outrageous amount of money to enjoy

I really like this game. I like playing the game. It’s a fun concept with nice graphics. However, in order to actually enjoy the game you need TONS more diamonds than the game allots a user per day. Paying for diamonds gives enough to actually design freely and happily for only a few rooms as they burn up very quickly. The “free” options of getting diamonds through TapJoy have also proved a major disappointment. Shuffling through the annoying options, most of them requiring you to download shotty crap on your phone, more still costing a ton of time, money, and effort is a major buzzkill trying to enjoy the actual game. To top it off a good majority of the deals with tapjoy do not even successfully give you your diamonds, and after contacting them many times to have to solve that problem, they will actually dispute that you even completed offers even if you can show proof and receipts. Conclusion, I’d love to spend time playing the game, but the cost is outrageous. More diamonds per day is a must if I’d keep the game, and certainly won’t let my kids play it or recommend it.
